Peoria Pundit

Damn.

Jonathan Ahl is leaving his job as news director at WCBU for another job outside Peoria.

I say we take up a collection and see how much we can raise to keep him here. Ahl is top-notch newsman. He’s a voice of reason and experience in the Peoria media. In fact, he’s the dean of the Peoria City Hall press corps.

He WILL be missed.

What we need to do, after Tuesday’s meeting, is take him out and get him drunk at Whitey’s.
