July 29 is the fifth Tuesday of the month, and tradition calls for a Blogger Bash.
We’ve done the chain hot-wing-joint thing.
We’ve done the other-side-of-the-river thing.
Let’s do it old school and meet at the site of the FIRST Peoria-area blogger bash and do it up at the Recovery Room. 802 W. Pioneer Parkway in Peoria. Say, 6 p.m.
Any other ideas, suggestions, criticisms, insults?

Sounds fine to me!
Will Elliott’s have their liquor license by then?
Eyebrows: Yes.
It would certainly loosen up C.J. a bit to go there.
I had planned on going to the moe. concert on the riverfront, but it’s looking like that won’t happen. Recovery Room works for me. Do they serve food there?
I do believe so. I know that they have things to nibble on at Elliott’s, too.
:-0
You’ll want to get a Cheese-O-B.
PI,
What did you just call me?
And Bill, I assure you- while Elliott’s might have a liquor license by then, the scenery inside will immediately send you right back out the front door. Especially since you don’t drink.
Cory: Are you disparaging the loveliness of the ladies from Elliott’s?
It is what it is.
It’s a sandwich at the Recovery Room, similar to a maid-rite but ohh so much better. But honestly I haven’t had one in a few years since they jacked up their prices and priced me right out of there.
I suppose if I’d ever had a Maid-Rite, I would have a point of reference.
Imagine a hamburger, but the beef is all crumbly, like a sloppy joe.
But not with sloppy joe sauce, more naturally moist. Yummy.
… and Firehouse Pizza is next door, too. I’m pretty sure we can order some for the group.
Firehouse moved.
It’s not on Pioneer Parkway anymore? I coulda sworn …
It’s across the street. Sort of.
Wow, we’re talking about July 29 already? I don’t even know what I’m doing this weekend, let alone three weeks from now. As long as we’re making long-term plans, do you want to go ahead and set a time and place for September 30 while we’re at it? I suggest Kelleher’s @ 6 p.m.
Since Vonachen’s is closing at the end of the year, I think we should have the December 30th Blogger Bash there. Who’s with me?
Ralph Wiggum…
I think you hit the nail on the head with this….
