Watch this turkey die! Incompetent management, bad newspapers

I worked for aGatehouse paper for two years…quit to take a pr job.
The editor was almost illiterate,the publisher was a “marketing guy” and the reporters were just phoning it in

The Journal Star is not a “bad” newspaper. I have serious problems with the editorial page. The reporting can be quite good at times. The problem these days is in lack of manpower and morale.

Recent post on Capitol Fax indicates that GateHouse stock could be officially “worthless” and that the company may be very close to defaulting on its loans, which could lead to immediate “liquidation.”
If liquidation happens does that mean all its newspapers have to be shut down or sold?
