Media: PJS is all over YouTube these days
For those who didn’t know, the Peoria Journal Star is really into YouTube these days.
I’m looking all over, and I cannot find a “byline” for the following video of this weekend’s peace march:

Here’s my concern about replying on You Tube and other 3rd-party services to store yoru original content. If the service goes out of business, you are out of luck.

“relying”? i think that is what you meant.
My guess is that they have content saved elsewhere but are using youtube so people can easily put this stuff on their blogs.

I believe this is No. 11,397 on the Journal Star’s list of immediate concerns — last time I checked.

If they are smart, they WANT people putting these videos on their blogs.

They don’t actually store the content on YouTube.
They cross-post the videos which are stored on all their Zope servers, so they appear on their Web site as well as YouTube.
Most of the GateHouse papers, especially Midwestern GHS papers, are doing this.
