Local: Another Saturday night in the River City

Again with the pepper balls? One officer let loose with about 30 of ‘em to break up a fight in the 500 block of  Main Street.

And here’s a good reason to avoid women bearing gin. As if I needed another one.

    I thought these fights were supposed to stop when we expanded the 4 a.m. liquor licenses?

    Seen it before. The trick to not getting caught up in this is to arrive at 5:30 and leave before 11.

    I don’t think that was a promise that came with the expansion. It had to do with business opportunities as well as a crowding from what I remember.

    When you have alcohol and morons anything can happen-anywhere.
