Local: Public comment period closing for sewer repair project
From my inbox:
Your input is needed on the options for reducing sewer overflows to the Illinois River. The 30-day public comment period will close on Wednesday, August 20, but there is still time to make your opinion known.
If you were unable to attend the public meetings held August 6 and 7, the meeting handouts, presentation and a short questionnaire are available at www.peoriacso.org. From the home page, click on “Public Meeting Info†to find information on the City’s options for reducing overflows.
You will also find a list of frequently asked questions and answers from the meetings. This will give you the information you need to fill out the public comment survey. You can print out and mail the survey, or take an electronic survey through the link provided on the site. Responses are due by this Wednesday, August 20.
You will need Acrobat Reader to view the meeting materials. You can download it for free at www.adobe.com.
Also, watch the Web site in September for a summary of public comments the City received.
Thank you for your interest in the Clean River-Healthy Riverfront program.
