Good news: The Cubs are 5 games in front in the National League Central Division.
Bad news: Cardinals fans are still obnoxious.
Good news: The Cubs are playing tonight.
Bad news: I don’t get the CSN Sports channel.
Good news: I’d rather listen to Pat and Ron on the radio anyway.

No, if I said Ron Santo STILL has no leg that would been tasteless.
He is worthless as a color commentator. He has become a mascot not a broadcaster.

Ron Santo is funny because he forgets what he’s saying in the middle of sentences and lives and dies with the Cubbies. They can be up by 8 runs in the ninth inning and give up 1 run, and Ronnie will start up with the “THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME! Here we go again, we’re gonna blow it. Ohhhhhh noooooo!” It CRACKS. ME. UP. He’s definitely a lot better than those homer douchebags who do the White Sox games. “Put it on the booooard- YES! He gone!” is the most annoying homerun call in the free world. And while I can understand favoring the team for whom you work, calling the teams “Good Guys” and “Bad Guys” is unprofessional.

Bad news: The last time the Cubs won the World Series, the radio as we know it had not been invented yet. However, the following year, the arctic explorer Robert E. Peary radiotelegraphed: “I found the Pole.”
Good news: The Cardinals have won the World Series ten times since then, most recently in 2006.
