* Phil Luciano is doing his schtick. Salty Sam event is 3-6 on Thursday, Aug. 28, at Kelleher’s. Money goes to help put up tombstone and remainder goes to children’’s charity (I don’t want to get name wrong).

“We might skin ten or twenty bucks out of here to get Phil a decent shirt,” Ardis quips. It was a horrid shirt.

* Now it’s time to honor Peoria City Beautiful Award winners. Several dozen. I’m not going to try to name everyone. They all get Iris Awards.

They are showing a slideshow. This will add 20 minutes to the length of the meeting.

    They need to move the cups out from in front of Sandbergs face when he talks.
