Politics: Turns out Palin does have some experience in foreign policy

I offer the following, without editorial comment:

  1. The perfect woman for the job.
  2. A dangerous right-wing lunatic who’s too inexperienced for the job.

It’s an election year, and there’s no middle ground.

    To keep it simple, I have copied and pasted this from Wikipedia: “A country’s foreign policy also called the international relations policy is a set of goals that seeks to outline how that particular country will interact on an official basis with other countries of the world and, to a lesser extent, non-state actors. As well, an entire range of factors relating to those other nations – including economic, political, social, military, etc. – is evaluated and monitored in attempts to maximize benefits of multilateral international cooperation. Foreign policies are designed to help protect a country’s national interests, national security, ideological goals, and economic prosperity. This can occur as a result of peaceful cooperation with other nations, or through exploitation.”

    So how do the answer options given and the video relate to the title of your post? Going to Kuwait and visiting her own national guard does not relate in any way to ‘foreign policy’ or ‘international relations’. That was merely pandering to her own base in Alaska. It was, after all, the Alaska National Guard she visited, not a foreign head of state, a dignitary from another country, nor even any citizen of another (foreign) state. So, you should at least have an answer option (c) none of the above.
