Damn, I’ll be in class until about 9:30.

  2.   Mazr Says:

Now is this a “debate” or a simply a forum?

Will there be a moderator asking each the same questions?

  3.   cgiselle12 Says:

Why in the name of god did they hold this in the morning? I am barely awake by 7:30 – and this virtually assures that most working people will NOT be able to attend.

Plus, with them starting at 7:30 am, it’s going to be awkward to listen to if you start working at 8am as half the world does.

It’s very republican of the chamber to make it difficult for the average person to attend, IMHO>

cgiselle: “I am barely awake by 7:30 – and this virtually assures that most working people will NOT be able to attend.”

“Working people” isn’t exactly the constituency the Chamber represents.

  5.   curious Says:

I think they thought 7:30 am would work best for people who work third shift.

  6.   Billy Dennis Says:

I assure you, as someone who used to work 3rd shift, that the LAST thing i wanted to do after work is go listen to politicians pontificate. And I’m a politics junkie.

  7.   11Bravo Says:

Good, the first step is admitting you have a problem. :)

  8.   11Bravo Says:

I just saw a segment on Krupa/Gordon on WEEK, and who was standing right behind her at a press conference? None other than the Peoria republican puppet master himself, Steve Shearer (yep he’s managing her campaign too). The same man who tells Aaron Schock and the man called “one of the most corrupt members of congress” Jerry Weller.

We have such a bright political future in central Illinois (sarcasm).

  9.   Ginny Martinez Says:

I’d lay odds that it’s still 50/50 (at best) whether Shock attends this non-debate…

  10.   Ginny Martinez Says:

Another opportunity for Shock to cancel a previously agreed-upon commitment.
Gee, what would A-ron’s wife say if he showed her such a lack of commitment??

  11.   Allison Says:

Hey Ginny, how is that article hunting coming along proving your crazy statements about Aaron’s supposed comments about women?

Until you prove otherwise, I think people will hardly believe anything you have to say.
