And I have no problem with Dianeâ€™s commenting habits, other than her penchant for constantly defending a person who is perhaps the weakest overall candidate on either side in any race in any state.

But you will evidently give yourself a “pass” for your penchant to malign at every opportunity a serious and popular candidate for Congress. How charitable you are – to yourself. If you want to gag me, then exert a little restraint on your own part as well. Deal?

After viewing the entire video, I think it is unfair to Billy Dennis to call this post a cheap shot. The problem here is that because of cable access and the internet these days any clown can pretend to be a jounalist. Clearly this “Coach Ron” guy was trying to do what Greg and Dan does on WMBD and the H Wayne does on WTVP. I’m no fan of Schock, but it appears from watching the video that he is just getting the usual soft-ball treatment that politicos usually get from these types of programs. To suggest that the interviewer’s subsequent legal problems are somehow attributable to the interviewee – well like I said, with the internet these days a lot of people try to play journalist. The problem is real journalist have editors.

All I did was point out (and defend Billy) that for one to call something a cheap shot, one’s own cheap shots should not be forgotten.

And who’s “Nastyboy”? Was that directed at me? Or Mr. Schock? If it was a shot at me, I don’t get it.

PostSim…thanks, I appreciate the thought, but I’ve got one impossibly beautiful and intelligent woman at home, and that’s all I need.

Hey, I said nice things about him, doesn’t that balance it out?

Alright, here’s your response: What does some other guy’s drug convictions have to do with Aaron Schock? It’s kind of low to be tying them together, about as low as holding a certain Illinois senator accountable for things other people did when he was a child or an eccentric pastor with a civil rights movement mentality. I don’t think either is particularly fair.

If Diane thinks I took a cheap shot, that’s her opinion and she has the right to it, and I encourage people to express their opinion of my posts. I see jer point, although I disagree.

And I am the one who moderates cthe amount of commenting here, not B.J. And Diane isn’t the only one who leaves a lot of comments. I LIKE getting a lot of comments.

And the shot at B.J. was uncalled for too.

Can we ALL please raise the bar on commenting?
