Politics: Krupa going negative

Last night, I caught what I think is the very first negative ad from the Joan Krupa campaign, paid for by the Friends For Joan Krupa Committee. The ad noted Jehan Gordon’s shoplifting convictions and her having misrepresented her academic credentials. There’s nothing in the ad that isn’t true according to press reports.
How can the Gordon campaign respond? By denying them? Nope. By complaining about her going negative? Nope, since it’s obvious Gordon has been in negative mode for weeks. By airing newer negative ads herself? Yep. Look for a bunch of new attack ads.

pound your opponent with thousands of dollars worth of cookie cutter misleading attack ads, and then when you respond inkind, they go even more over the top. as they said in the untouchables, its the CHICAGO WAY!

Are the mailers shown in the first part of the included TV commercial posted anywhere online? I haven’t received them in the mail and would like to see them for myself.

I agree postsimian, gordon’s untrue attack ads and shady character are disappointing. I wish her primary opponent were on the ballot instead. At least it would be a contest of ideas and records instead of what Gordon has been spewing so far.

The Gordon’s people asked for it. Joan Krupa has been attacked over and over . All that is in this ad is true.. Ms. Gordon threw the first blow , in attacking Joan Krupa . When you trow mud , you end up muddy.

How does one go 8 years without paying a fine and not get arrested? Don’t fines come with a pay by due date or go to jail? EIGHT years! Are these fines optional?

I think I caught the tail-end of another/new Jehan attack ad on Krupa’s record… can anyone direct me to a clip/copy of the latest Gordon ad, please?
