Will they include school board candidates on these forums?

    Billy,
The Alliance Forum starts at 5:30pm not 6:30pm. The format is that everyone will meet/ask questions of the Mayor’s candidates and the city treasurer candidates. Mary Haynes will also speak for a few minutes. We will also have a few minutes outlining the RNNC fundraising initiative. Around 6:30-6:40pm we then break into smaller rooms by council districts. for the next 45 minutes to an hour. This gives residents ample access to the candidates for whom they are voting vs. spending time listening to candidates for whom they cannot vote. Our event is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to attend. For those district candidates running unopposed, they have been encouraged to come to meet and answer questions from their constituents. We are trying to maximize question asking/answering opportunities. We will have light refreshments.

Diane, ours is only for city candidates, meaning not the school board, township races. These candidates are welcome to come, greet residents, pass out literature, etc.

Additionally we realized after scheduling the event that there is a Democratic Dinner this evening. We are asking that the public be flexible with those candidates who are going to and from this event as well.

Thanks, Looking forward to a great turnout and productive interactions.

    Billy,
Also the Prince of Peace Church is near the corner of Arcadia and Wisconsin. In behind the Krogers plaza.
