Shocking as it may seem, someone from Peoria was actually interviewed on the Today Show. I know there’s a YouTube video out there, but it will no doubt be taken down for copyright infringement. Here’s an embedded video from NBC:

I just wish that the local media would check out who else Aaron’s been talking too. It is the time of the year when all the wingnuts get together at the Conservative Political Action Conference. Aaron’s goining to be hanging out with all the other moderates like Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, and the ilk talking about bipartisanship and the like. Who knows perhaps he can bring home some “Obama’s Bin Lyin’” bumperstickers, or maybe he’ll purchase an “It’s OK to be Ex Gay” button.
Aaron is working so hard for the interests of the 18th District he doesn’t have time to attend functions at right wing publishing houses like Eagle that Swift Boat American Heroes. He probably didn’t have time to appear on a radio talk show like Laura Ingraham and called the new President arrogant either.

Hmmmm…wasn’t there another Peorian who was interviewed by Jane Pauley on the Today Show, years ago? I wish I could remember his name, because he owes me money. Having said that, young conservatives have always frightened me and it has nothing to do with politics.
