Raquel Welch’s metal-lined black-satin bustier set all alarms at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport last week.
Welch, 69, had planned to change out of it into more comfortable — and less metallic — traveling clothes after taping an appearance Thursday on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” to promote her new book, “Raquel: Beyond the Cleavage.”
But Welch, a Chicago native, stuck around to autograph books for audience members afterward and ran short of time to catch her plane, Nathanson said.
Both the Transportation Security Administration officer who pulled Welch aside for the extra security check and the officer who did the patdown in a glass booth were female, said Nathanson, who was traveling with Welch.
Laugh all you want. I heard a report that Al Queada have been recruiting woman willing to insert explosive-filled breast implants into their bodies. Could happen.
So, by all means, the TSA should be on the lookout for T&A.
