Some people STILL do not get the ‘citizen journalist’ thing

Knoxville’s Helen Smith, a forensic psychologist who blogs at Dr. Helen, raised some concern and questions about whether the Knoxville Police Department had increased patrols in West Knoxville.
“I was out yesterday and saw people left and right being pulled over for what looked like routine traffic stops for going a few miles over the speed limit. The limits are so low in our area that if you don’t ’speed,’ you almost get rear-ended.” She then asked had anyone else noticed, and questioned whether this was a quest for revenue.
I e-mailed KPD spokesman Darrell DeBusk and asked him to address Smith’s questions.
