Look, your having fun and all self righteous, and you seem a bully. But your misleading people with your numbers. Rush might have at most 15 dedicated advertisers and maybe 30 more would be national regulars. The local guys buy shows every so often, but mostly they buy the stations demographics.

The 141 number is just fantasy.

    Billy,

I see your daily page hits are way down. I guess people have tired of you passing on the latest liberal conventional wisdom without a hint of critical thought.

This post (and many before it) are perfect examples. Rather than play conductor to the liberal choir, maybe you should put “141 companies” in perspective.” These are primarily local advertisers, who get air time in local markets and are a small fraction of what may be as many as 18,000 total advertisers on Rush Limbaugh’s show.

Rush will be able to replace these. And some (and perhaps all) that have dropped him will come back after the fires are quenched. In other words, your attempt to get his show off the air is going to fail.

    Miserably.

Except for VERY recently, my hot count has never been better. But thanks for asking.

Rush will always have an audience hungry for his sermon of hate talk. Since he could not stop continuously insulting women (even in his apology), advertisers now see him and his ilk as a greater liability than an asset.

Limbaugh has single handily managed to bring down the Wacko-Rights house of cards upon himself and completely changed advertiser’s approach to Talk Radio. This will effect Liberal outlets as well.

Ultimately, Limbaugh and other hate speech jocks will follow the migration to Satellite Radio.

It’s just so wonderful to watch his bloated carcase kicked to the curb by those capitalistic forces so sanctified by this most sorriest excuse for a human being.
