I came across a photo of Kosuke Fukudome on my computer today. I felt NOTHING. So I knew my decision was the right one. I didn’t leave the Cubs. The Cubs left ME.

Sorry, didn’t know you had given up. Don’t think your shiney new GM can solve another record drought? 102 isn’t THAT much longer than 86, is it? There’s always next year!
On a serious note, the Cubbies new infield looks very promising – every rebuilding program takes a while to blossom. At least you didn’t give up like the Astros did by giving away Bourn, Pence, Oswald, etc. They don’t seem to have gotten even prospects for any of them and they weren’t holding anyone back.
Not to kick a guy while he’s down, but the Cubs have been terrible your entire life. When did they leave you? In your previous incarnation?
I thought I was clear. It was the Ricketts.
Oh. Its not about baseball. Doh!
