Local: Scarlett is here to distract you

I have something I need to reveal, but the fewer people who know it, the better. So I thought I would place a visually appealing image in this post in the hopes of distracting readers.

Perhaps people will think I’m starting up with the eye candy thing again and that all the words were some nonsense about Scarlett and her husband, that loser who was on the show about the pizza parlor with the actress from “Monk.”

So, if don’t really need to know what embarrassing thing happened to me today, then gaze upon Scarlett, sigh, and move on to the next post. ‘Kay?

Politics: Let’s not drag Drew into this mess

Regarding my previous post, which touched on Congressman Jerry Weller’s marriage to the daughter of Guatemala’s former dictator, I received the following observation:

Pardon me, but if Drew Barrymore fell in love with you and her father was a serial killer, should you not marry her?

If Drew fell in love with me, I’d move to Guatemala with her. I’m pretty sure the restraining orders aren’t in effect there.

But seriously, look at this face:

Could this be the face of a serial killer’s daughter? I think not.

Media: A local blogger is playing with her thingy

Diane Vespa might be a traitor to the Cubs, but she’s looking real good. She developed a new header for her Blogger-hosted blog. I approve.

And I don’t know WHY she felt the need to travel to St. Louis to find some male eye candy. It’s like she’s saying there’s no one in uniform in Peoria who is worthy.

* and the whole “playing with your thingy” is how Polly Peoria, whose site is apparently abandoned, said about ME whenever I changed by theme.
