I’m hearing that the sale of the now-closed White School to OSF Medical Center will close this week, with the district getting $750,000 for former East Bluff school.

The hospital will use it as a training center for employees in advance of a major software upgrade.

Media: Former TV newsie takes a PR job at OSF

Former WEEK and WMBD-31 newsie Shelli Dankoff McClellan is getting a new gig. She served as director of development at Easter Seals and was executive producer and host for the Easter Seals telethon for the last six years. She’s been hired as media relations specialist at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of Illinois. She’ll be serving under another former WMBD-31 newsie, Amy Paul, who is a big wig in the hospital’s communications department.

Congrats, Shelli.

I wonder if she’ll still be filling in on 1470 WMBD?
